Learn about ways to work with your assessments and engage your team

Once you have created draft assessments, you have several ways to process them and engage your team before finalizing them.

By now, you have probably been through the assessment guide and learned how to gain the understanding and knowledge needed to conduct due diligence using SEE impacts. Before finalizing your assessments and creating reports, you have several options to engage your team and get everything right.

For this purpose, additional features are located in the lower right corner of the draft assessment workflow. Hover over the icons to see what each button does. The black button lets you see how the assessment will appear in reports in machine-validated form once finalized. Note that you must first save the assessment to see the latest result. When working on a draft, you are free to mark AND save it as final without leaving the page, allowing you to do one final check of the result. If everything does not yet look as it should, you can still make final edits or change the saving status to draft and finalize it later.

Only when you leave the page after saving as final does the assessment lock and become visible in reports.

The yellow button allows you to work with tasks (see related articles), where you can submit tasks to your colleagues to engage them in the assessment work. Maybe you need additonal information or the result of a survey in order to complete the assessment. Simply assign a task to them, and they will receive an email detailing the task. They can complete the task by locating it in their task folder, adding more information to the assessment, and then letting you know that you can continue.

The blue button allows for a commentary thread between you and your colleagues. Here, you can exchange views or provide information required for a task.

Finally, for accounts having enabled a grievance mechanism, any results from this can be logged for reference and found using the green button. Notification bubbles show if there are any tasks, comments, or grievances to take into consideration.

These are some of the ways you can get the most out of a collaborative approach to working with impact assessments in SEE impacts.
