With the SEE impacts Relationships add-on, you have the option to engage your business relationships by extending the use of SEE impacts to them.
Once you have enabled the Relationships add-on in account management (available to account admins), you can extend SEE impacts to selected business relationships such as suppliers, customers or others.
Adding a relationship
To add a relationship to your account, click on administration from the left side menu pane in the dashboard (available with an admin user role), and click on relationships. From the relationship overview, click the red add button.
The setup screen shown below will appear:

Simply fill in the required fields to identify the business relationship and insert the personal information of the employee within your new relationship who should be the first user. This user will become the account admin for the new relationship's SEE impacts account and can assign more users as needed.
Note that creating a relationship initiates a new and separate autonomous account just like your own, available to your business relationship. This new account also benefits from unlimited users and has all the functionalities of the SEE impacts Core features package. The account can only be used for the one unit that you set it up for. However your business relationship is free to convert the account to a subscribed one, extend it with add-ons etc. This will not affect any linking between your two accounts, until the affiliation is aborted by detachment.
Automatic and transparent reporting
Once your business relationship begins using SEE impacts and conducting impact assessments, all final results will automatically be reported to your account through the RBR reports, available from the left-side menu pane in the dashboard.
The business relationship has fully autonomous use of the platform, and only finalized assessments are reported to you. This way, you can follow progress through your RBR reports on all active business relationships as they advance in their assessment work.
If you have opted to disclose your impact assessment to your business relationship, they will be able to see and follow your assessment work in their own RBR reports.
Helping your business relationship achieve compliance
You can help your business relationship achieve compliance and follow best practices in their assessment work in several ways. The business relationship can open support access to your account, allowing your admin users to access the relationship account, oversee their work directly, and help get it done.
The Relationships add-on also includes the templates feature, so you can generate a template from any of your assessments, edit it in the template section (see related article), and share the template with any business relationship you have support access to. This way, your business relationship does not have to start from scratch; it can simply modify any information to fit its findings.
Benefits for your business relationship
Once your business relationship has completed its assessment, they will have the same reporting features, just like yours. Since SEE impacts ensures a methodology and procedures compliant with the international minimum standards for sustainability compliance, your business relationship can easily document this to any of their stakeholders who may request it from them.
If another business using SEE impacts wishes to link to the same business relationship, there is no need for any additional setup. This is because any account in SEE impacts can be disclosed to any other account's RBR reports simply by 'bridging' a unit using the account number (see related article about bridges).
Ending the relationship
If you need to end a business relationship, for example, if you stop using the supplier, delete the link by clicking the X at the far right in the relationships overview. This action will not terminate the relationship account but only downgrade it to be available in a two-month trial period. All data, users and login information will remain intact and available to your business relationship which can convert to a subscription of the account and carry on as they already have. Please note that if you have opted to disclose your impact assessment to the ended business relationship, you must manually remove the bridge from the unit settings, if you no longer want them to receive your assessments.
Your account's allowance of available relationships only counts active relationships. So, when ending a relationship, the allowance count will increase by one.
